For all those of you, who do not want to waste their time in fighting their way through the “Ayurveda-jungle” on the internet, and for those who like to have it nice and cozy, individual and familiar while travelling, and for those who purely wish to take some time-out in order to heal, nourish and pamper their body and soul – we could be the solution!

Ayurveda is the oldest medical science and art of healing in the world, having its origin in Sri Lanka and South India. Literally the Sanskrit words “ayur” and “veda” stand for “The knowledge of life”. Our western way of life is driven by efficiency, stress and success and has, not in the slightest way, regard for our body and soul. With precise applications of oil, massage techniques and the right nutrition, a cure of Ayurveda can be very effectual – it is able to balance out our physical, emotional and mental equilibrium, and can even heal physical disorders in the long-run. It helps to strengthen the immune system, our life energy and the well-being of our body and it can regulate physical dissonances.

We work together with experienced Ayurveda doctors and their therapists, who will – after the first analysis of each guest – arrange the best therapeutic treatment as well as the suitable diet. Sesame oil is the basis of all oils, which then – according to your constitution – will be enriched with the appropriate ayurvedic herbs.

Ayurveda ist das älteste medizinische Heilsystem der Welt. Wörtlich bedeutet Ayurveda “Das Wissen vom Leben”. Unser westlicher Lebensstil ist leistungsgesteuert und nimmt nicht immer Rücksicht auf Körper und Seele. Mit gezielten Ölgüssen, Massagen und der richtigen Ernährung stellt eine Kur nach Ayurveda das körperliche, geistige und emotionale Gleichgewicht wieder her. Es trägt dazu bei u.a. das Immunsystem zu stärken, die Lebensenergie und das Wohlgefühl im Körper zu steigern und die Dissonanzen im Körper auszugleichen.

Wir arbeiten mit erfahrenen indischen Ayurveda-Ärzten und deren Therapeuten/-innen zusammen, die nach der Eingangskonsultation eines jeden Gastes das entsprechende Therapie-Programm sowie die passende Diät zusammenstellen. Sesamöl ist die Grundlage aller verwendeten Öle, die – je nach Konstitution – mit den jeweiligen ayurvedischen Kräutern angereichert werden.

Stamped from fear and prejudices concerning India, we left Germany, but already on arrival at the airport we experienced the exact opposite: we were welcomed by Sabina with flower garlands and an old Ambassador and felt "save and welcomed" at once. And as we entered the gate to your guesthouse, which is a true heaven on earth, it was clear: nothing is more comforting than to arrive here and just be! Soon afterwards, our 11-day round trip through Kerala and parts of Tamil Nadu started, and just to summon it up in a few words: Sabina is like a cook of an indian dish, creating an all-round adventure by picking the right amount of spices and ingredients - we would choose Good Karma Travels any time again and we highly recommend them!
